MARCH 2016 EDITION

Dear Colleague,

Greetings from Cologne.

The months of March and April are all about aquaculture. With presentations at the Fish International Bremen and talks in Boston at the Seafood Expo North America, preparations are underway to bring GLOBALG.A.P. Aquaculture Certification to a new level of transparency and consumer awareness.

You can find out more by joining us at our News Conference at the Brussels Seafood Expo Global on 27 April 2016 at 3 p.m. in Hall 11, 3rd Floor, Room 1124. Stop by our booth No. 4026 in Hall 9 and talk to one of our aquaculture certification experts.

We recently launched the GLOBALG.A.P. Photo Contest to showcase GLOBALG.A.P. certified growers around the world. Send us your best shot for a chance to win a ticket to the GLOBALG.A.P. SUMMIT 2016 in Amsterdam including accommodation. The best pictures will also be displayed on a world map at the SUMMIT 2016.

EDEKA, Germany’s leading food retailer, fully integrates GLOBALG.A.P. Certification in their fruit and vegetable buying policy. Read their statement here.

We are glad to announce that the new IFA Standard Version 5 is now available in Dutch, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish. Additional languages will follow within the next months. Please check regularly in the document center of our website to see if your language has been uploaded.
