Sektorkomitees

Die GLOBALGAP Sektorkomitees (SCs) wurden auf Beschluss des Lenkungskreises im März 2006 gebildet. Im Jahr 2007 traten die Sektorkomitees an die Stelle des technischen Beirates (TSC). Die Mitglieder der Sektorkomitees werden für einen Zeitraum von drei Jahren von ihren Gruppen (Händler und Lieferanten) gewählt. Die SCs arbeiten weitgehend unabhängig vom Lenkungskreis, aber im Rahmen der vom Lenkungskreis festgelegten Grundsätze. Die SCs sind für technische Entscheidungen rund um ihre Produktbereiche verantwortlich. Dabei werden sie vom GLOBALGAP Sekretariat unterstützt und koordiniert, um eine Einheitlichkeit und Harmonisierung zu gewährleisten. Der Lenkungskreis beschließt die von den SCs entwickelten oder überarbeiteten Standards.

Das SC hat auch eine beratende Funktion und kann bei Bedarf vom GLOBALGAP Lenkungskreis in produktspezifischen Angelegenheiten hinzugezogen werden.
