Reporting to: Certification Integrity Program (CIPRO) Coordinator
Type of Job: Part-time position, freelance
Date of Entry: 1 July 2013 – subject to the successful completion of a training
period
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
As a member of the Integrity Team your duties are to:
- Conduct surveillance audits of certification bodies around the world, according to the requirements of the GLOBALG.A.P. Certification Integrity Program.
- Provide technical support related to the development of the GLOBALG.A.P. General Regulations and Control Points.
- Process and follow up on complaints and integrity issues.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the GLOBALG.A.P. certification body team when required.
Job Specifications:
1. Qualifications:
- BSc/MSc required in food or in agriculture.
- In-depth knowledge of GLOBALG.A.P. Control Points and General Regulations.
- Compliance with GLOBALG.A.P. (CB) auditor qualification requirements.
2. Skills:
- Languages: Excellent written, technical and verbal communication skills in German and English. Additional global language an advantage.
3. Experience:
- 3+ years experience as a GLOBALG.A.P. Auditor.
- At least 5 years professional experience in the agriculture industry.
- Strong technical background in agriculture related to crops. Experience with livestock is preferred.
4. Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills: verbal and written
- Excellent coordination and organizational skills
- Excellent auditing skills
- Must be flexible to travel extensively all around the world
- Precise attention to detail
- Appreciation and understanding of agricultural technical issues including food safety and sustainability
- Able to work well in a multi-disciplinary team
- Excellent conflict management skills
- Results oriented
- Drivers license is necessary
