Safe Quality Seafood Associates, LLC (SQSA) focuses on seafood safety and quality from the water to the consumer. Their services include HACCP training, risk assessments, lot inspections and the development of accredited food safety and quality programs. In March 2012, SQSA began offering services as a GLOBALG.A.P. Farm Assurer.

In 2006, Mr. Zimmerman attained a Masters degree in Aquaculture at James Cook University, in Townsville, Australia. Since then, he has worked in the seafood industry in the United States, Caribbean, and South America. SQSA prides itself on being one of the only food safety consultants focusing its efforts purely on seafood related issues. “Addressing seafood safety and quality related compliance issues is more complicated than other food products.
