On 3 August, a workshop organized by the Vietnamese Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP) and the Directory of Fisheries (DoF) took place at VIETFISH 2016, the Vietnam Fisheries International Exhibition, in Ho Chi Min City Vietnam. The workshop entitled "Seafood Certifications and Vietnamese Commitments On Environmental Responsibility" highlighted the results of the joint efforts between DoF, GLOBALG.A.P. and the Vietnamese aquaculture sector.

A collaboration for transparency between GLOBALG.A.P. and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam has led to a detailed comparison between the new Version 5 of GLOBALG.A.P. Aquaculture Certification with the Aquaculture VietGAP Standard Version 2. To learn more about the collaboration and the significance of GLOBALG.A.P.
