Belinda has over twenty years of experience in the Quality Assurance Industry. She is a passionate and enthusiastic professional who earlier this year joined the GLOBALG.A.P. team in the role of Key Account Manager - Oceania. She is very excited to be working for a member-driven not-for-profit organization with objectives in the promotion of safe, sustainable agriculture. She sees her top priorities as developing trusted, dependable relationships with her key stakeholders, namely retailers and brand owners, where she can provide greater opportunities and information on innovations and up-to-date changes. Her responsibilities also include the development of solid and reliable relationships with certification bodies and schemes that currently exist within the region.

Belinda's most recent role prior to joining GLOBALG.A.P. was working in the Corporate Quality Assurance function for Australia's major retailer, Woolworths Ltd. In this role she was accountable for audit program management across eight business divisions including the Woolworths Quality Assurance Program for food safety and quality as well as consumer goods. Belinda managed teams across Australia, Hong Kong, China and Bangladesh.

Following the completion of her studies in Applied Science - Food Technology, she commenced her working career with GSF Australia, assisting Australia's lettuce growers with HACCP implementation on-farm. She has maintained her passion for fresh produce throughout her career, working in numerous capacities including audit and certification  as well as export.

Belinda is an active promoter of harmonization solutions for supply chain members. Today, Belinda is also a project consultant on the HARPS Project (Harmonised Australian Retailer Produce Scheme).

Belinda is a mother of two girls, Madeleine 6 and Cassidy 4. Together with her husband Dwayne they manage this crazy, non-stop Aussie household – which also includes Gracie the Beagle! Both Belinda and her other half share a passion for fresh produce, farming and staying fit and well!
