About the Technical Committee Elections 2015

Q1: Who can vote?

The elections are open to all GLOBALG.A.P. retailer/food service members and producer/trader members.

Q2: How many people can a company vote for?

Each member organization can only vote once in their respetive ballot. Staff within a company who received the mailing must coordinate ONE vote per ballot for their company.

Q3: How many votes per company are allowed?

Crops Technical Committee:

Retailer/food service members may vote for up to seven (7) retailer/food service member applicants.

Producer/trader members may vote for seven (7) producer/trader member applicants.

GRASP Technical Committee:

Only producer/trader members may vote. A member organization may vote for up to five (5) producer/trader member applicants.

Q4: May I only vote for an applicant in my region?

No, the votes are not based on regions, although the region where the applicant resides is listed in the applicants’ profiles.

Q5: May a Livestock or Aquaculture producer member vote for the Crops TC producer applicants?

No, only Crops based member organizations can vote for the Crops TC applicants.

Q6: May a Livestock or Aquaculture producer member vote for the GRASP TC producer applicants?

Yes, all producer member organizations can vote for the GRASP TC producer applicants.

Q7: May all my votes (for example 5 votes for the GRASP TC producer applicants) go to 1 candidate?

No, each company may only give one vote per candidate.

Q8: When will the winners of the elections be announced?

The new TC members will be published on the GLOBALG.A.P. website mid-December 2015.
