GLOBALG.A.P. Community Newsletter Logo

Dear Colleague,

Greetings from Cologne!

The Holiday Season is just around the corner and preparations are underway to make this a sustainable and socially responsible festivity as well. On that note, we congratulate the German Christmas tree producer Tannenhof/Oberweilheim on their GLOBALG.A.P. Certificate, and our retail member REWE Group for selling Christmas plants (Poinsettias) in their TOOM and PENNY markets grown by GRASP assessed producers.

Those who enjoy fish as one of their festive meals can now buy a choice of GLOBALG.A.P. certified Seabream or Seabass from Turkey-based More Aquaculture, an AKG Group company, or Atlantic Salmon from Chilean producer Cultrovos Yadrán. All three products carry the Friend of the Sea label as part of a sustainability add-on program with GLOBALG.A.P.

Here’s a list of other developments in our global community:
And here’s a list of additional events during the next months to help you stay connected with GLOBALG.A.P.
Our upcoming IFA V5 Capacity Building and Farm Assurer Workshops:
I wish you a pleasant last month of 2015 and hope to see you in 2016.

Best regards,
Kristian Moeller
