Greetings from the Seafood Expo Global exhibition in Brussels, where we will be talking about supporting businesses market their fish and seafood products from certified aquaculture not only to the industry but to consumers as well.
AMAG.A.P., the Austrian fruit, vegetable and potatoes standard, is the first scheme to be successfully re-benchmarked against the Integrated Farm Assurance Standard (IFA) Version 5. Austrian producers are now ready to meet the improved requirements to address microbial risks and water use. IFA V5 will become obligatory in July 2016.

Spain’s UNEGAP Successfully Recognized as an Equivalent Scheme for IFA Version 4 Fruit & Vegetables

Already recognized by GLOBALG.A.P. as an approved modified checklist (AMC) in April 2014, UNEGAP has now extended its scope to become an equivalent scheme. The standard provides certification for both individual producers and producer groups.
