based retailer Lidl expands their demand for certification to their
suppliers of flowers and ornamentals. GLOBALG.A.P. has already been
Lidl`s standard of choice for fruits and vegetable sold in their
European stores for many years.

Adressing Sustainability on GLOBALG.A.P. Aquaculture Farms?
The
GLOBALG.A.P. Aquaculture Standard covers the four pillars established
by the FAO Technical Guidelines on Aquaculture Certification - food
safety, environment, workers, animal welfare - including all the
production chain - hatchery, farm, feed, traceability after harvest.
Produce Handling Assurance Standard (PHA) Public Consultation Period 4 June - 2 July
The
new GLOBALG.A.P. Produce Handling Assurance Standard (PHA) covers
pre-process production steps after the point of harvest for crops
including cooling, packing, re-packing, handling, and storage of
produce for human consumption.
Craigmore Plantations - A Trailblazer for Women’s Rights and Water Conservation in India
In
2011, Craigmore Plantations (India) Private Limited was the first tea
plantation company to receive GLOBALG.A.P. Certification in India. The
company implements good agricultural practices in all its operations
and provides specific services to its employees that are widely
acknowledged.
Cromaris d.d. - Picturesque Locations for the Rearing of Fish in Croatia
The
beautiful northern and central Adriatic regions where the farms of
the Croatian company Cromaris d.d. are located, are the ideal
environment for high quality, open-sea farming. The company, which was
established in 2009, has seven farms, two of which are located in
Istria (northern Adriatic), and five in the Zadar region (central
Adriatic).
GLOBALG.A.P. now Used as an Educational Tool in Japan
In
2015 Goshogawara Agricultural and Forestry High School became the first
school in Japan to receive GLOBALG.A.P. certification for its apple
orchard.
BayG.A.P. Workshop Held in India
Under
the guidance of the GLOBALG.A.P. trainer Ignacio Antequera, 18
participants took part in a workshop organized by Bayer CropScience
under the BayG.A.P. program.
