About IFA v6 for hops

Integrated Farm Assurance (IFA) for hops is a global standard for responsible farming practices at primary production level, covering preharvest activities such as soil and water management to plant protection products, and postharvest activities such as picking, drying, and baling. The standard adopts a holistic approach that covers the key topics of food safety, environmental sustainability and biodiversity, workers’ well-being, production processes, and traceability.

GLOBALG.A.P. standards for hops have been operational for over 5 years and are developed through extensive collaboration with stakeholders throughout the sector. IFA is tried, tested, and trusted across the globe, with GLOBALG.A.P. certified production processes covering over 30,000 acres of hops production annually.
