Your Responsibilities

  • Actively support the international staff of GLOBALG.A.P. in all relevant IT issues arising in the daily business operations covering 1st level assistance
  • Utilizing your technical background, take arisen support issues further to develop sophisticated solutions via 2nd level support
  • Work conceptually in order to develop the future GLOBALG.A.P. IT landscape
  • Implement the conceptual IT landscape vision concretely with hard- and software solutions
  • Routine hard- and software administrative tasks to support our current applications
  • Create internal manuals for end users and your fellow IT team members
  • Share your expertise and knowledge on support and administrative tasks with the IT team
  • Increase the level of in-house IT services with your expertise in IT administration


Job Specifications

1. Qualifications

  • A successfully completed degree in computer science or a comparable training (IT specialist, IT systems electronics technician (m/f/d), etc.) and – ideally - already some professional experience
  • Profound knowledge of Microsoft Business Solutions (Exchange, Microsoft Office 365, Dynamics, PowerShell)
  • Experience in corporate hardware and software - administration as well as virtualization

2. Skills

  • Enjoying the combination of ad hoc customer orientated problem solving as well as mid and long term-oriented planning and shaping of the IT infrastructure
  • Supportive attitude and a high level of customer and service orientation
  • Characterized by a good conceptual and analytical understanding as well as a strong capacity for abstraction
  • Affinity for working on IT hardware, setting up systems and implementing solutions for business matters
  • Desire to actively impart knowledge instead of making yourself indispensable as an expert
  • Able to evaluate a variety of tasks with regards to their priority and to work independently according to set priorities
  • No reservations about English as a business language, at least C1 level
  • German language skills, at least B1 level
