Your Responsibilities
- Responsibly manage a future-oriented IT project among internal and external participants
- Outline and communicate abstract project goals to multinational stakeholders to market project and support project participation
- Break down complexity how IT technologies can deliver company value within this project and inspire people with high as well as low IT affinity
- Translate strategic goals into concrete operational requirements and maintain this linkage
- Successfully exercise project management role incl. creation and monitoring budget plan and take over reliable project team coordination role in the project
- Support the strategic business model creation process and related tasks
- Keep track of project progress and actively report to project sponsor and participants
- Document project progress and give full project transparency
Job Specifications
1. Qualifications
- A successfully completed degree in computer science or IT-related studies and - ideally -already some professional experience
- Successfully completed Project Management training, preferably IT-related
2. Skills
- Characterized by a good organized and structured way of working
- Attitude to actively take over responsibility for the project regarding budget, timing and resources
- Communicative skills allowing to give highest project transparency and ability to inspire people
- IT expertise to grasp, break down and communicate IT technologies and matters among people with different cultural and professional backgrounds
- Understanding in software development processes
- Confident working within a matrix project organization
- Supportive attitude and a high level of customer and service orientation allowing to be a project enabler
- Able to evaluate a variety of project tasks with regards to their priority and to work independently
- No reservations about English as a business language, at least C1 level
3. Experience
- Project management experience, preferably IT-related
4. Requirements
- A work permit for Germany
- Physical presence in the Cologne office
