Your Responsibilities

  • Develop the GLOBALG.A.P. business in the European region according to the company’s strategy
  • Promote the wide range of GLOBALG.A.P. solutions among new and existing partners
  • Develop and improve the network of contacts to strengthen relationships
  • Analyze market and industry tendencies to detect business opportunities and satisfy customer needs
  • Create, implement and maintain action plans for each account
  • Support the work of the Membership Development Team as well as the Standard Development Team

Job Specifications

1. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in the field of Business Administration or Food/Agriculture; Master’s degree is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the food or agricultural industry, preferably in the field of Key Account Management or Sales/Marketing
  • Fluent in English and German; knowledge of French, Spanish or Dutch is an advantage

2. Skills

  • Open-minded, honest, precise, proactive and self-motivating personality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and teamwork skills
  • High level problem solving, multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Strong technical skills, including proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Basic knowledge of sales budgeting, marketing techniques, production and distribution processes
  • Driven to achieve the highest quality in daily work with a high level of attention to details

3. Further Requirements

  • Currently valid residence and work permit for Germany
  • Flexibility to travel regularly within Europe
  • Clean driving license
