TECHNICAL SENIOR EXPERT - AGRICULTURE (m/f/d)

Type of job: Full-time, 39 hours/week

Availability: Immediately

Job location: Cologne Office

Reports to: Chief Standards Officer

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee development and approval of the Integrated Farm Assurance standard
  • Collaborate with the other GLOBALG.A.P. technical experts on development of other standards
  • Co-facilitate the Fruit and Vegetables Technical Committee
  • Offer GLOBALG.A.P. Public and/or Certification Body Training on occasion
  • Engage actively with international stakeholder organizations
  • Participate in relevant trade shows, conferences, etc.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, Livestock Husbandry or Crop Management
  • In-depth knowledge of GLOBALG.A.P. standard(s)
  • Fluent in English; working knowledge of German, Dutch or Spanish
  • 5-7 years of technical work in a multi-stakeholder environment with standard development or auditing experience
  • Team player with good communication, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel 40% of the time, both domestically and internationally
