GLOBALG.A.P. Audit Online Hub

GLOBALG.A.P. has developed a new hub called GLOBALG.A.P. Audit Online Hub to gather necessary inspection/audit information in a modern and effective way. Creating and sharing digital checklists and inspection/audit reports in different languages are some of the core functionalities of the GLOBALG.A.P. Audit Online Hub. The goal is to simplify the inspection/audit process and to continually improve the GLOBALG.A.P. standards. GLOBALG.A.P. Audit Online Hub is available here.

Using this tool, certification bodies can digitally enter inspection/audit information during the inspection/audit and later review it online. GLOBALG.A.P. has partnered with the audit management software providers listed at right in order to gather inspection/audit information appropriately. Inspection/Audit reports are stored in a single tool, enabling a trusted view and ensuring compliance and quality.

If you are a software provider and interested in becoming a partner for GLOBALG.A.P. Audit Online Hub, please contact Leonard Jansen to determine any preconditions. You can book a 30-minute online appointment with him by following this link.

FAQs Audit Online Hub

1. Is it possible to combine different GLOBALG.A.P. standards/modules within one report?

Yes. Certification bodies have the option of combining or separating standards and modules or even duplicating inspection/audit reports.

2. Will there be uniform inspection/audit reports?

Yes. The system itself uses the same template across all standards to generate the PDF inspection/audit reports. Currently, some certification bodies are still using their own templates, but once certification bodies start using GLOBALG.A.P. Audit Online Hub, we can expect the market to adopt the template over time.

3. What is the difference between an online certificate and an inspection/audit report ?

An online certificate is generated through the GLOBALG.A.P. database and contains information which is related to and mandatory for the certification process. An inspection/audit report is generated through GLOBALG.A.P. Audit Online Hub and contains detailed information about the inspection/audit itself, down to the level of individual control points.

4. Who is using the system? Who has access?

Access is granted only to GLOBALG.A.P. employees and to the certification bodies to provide the data.

5. What can I do if I have forgotten my password?

If you have an account already and can't remember your password, just make use of the “I forgot my password” functionality.

6. How much does GLOBALG.A.P. Audit Online Hub cost?

GLOBALG.A.P. approved certification bodies can use GLOBALG.A.P. Audit Online Hub free of charge. Please get access via GLOBALG.A.P. customer support.

If you are a software provider, you need to become a GLOBALG.A.P. member and talk to Leonard Jansen to determine whether you meet the requirements.

7. We are using our own checklists. Can we keep using them?

As it is a ready-to-use system, Audit Online Hub has a wide set of templates already in place. You can, however, customize these according to your needs. Your amended checklist must then be tested in the test system to confirm that it is suitable. For example, if the column order is rearranged or if a column is deleted, the checklist will not be approved. Customized software solutions from our partners can also help you to align checklists to your processes. This eliminates the need for Excel files in the future.

8. Which standards and add-ons are available?

FSMA PSR add-on v1.2, IFA v5.2, IFA v5.3-GFS, IFA v5.4-GFS, HPSS v1.2, NM add-on v11.2, PHA v1.2. More standards and add-ons will be added in future.

9. Are checklist questions (incl. control points and compliance criteria available in different languages?

Yes. Currently the checklists are available for IFA v5.2 in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Norwegian, Albanian, Chinese, Japanese, Italian, French, German, Dutch, Vietnamese, Hungarian, Arabic, Georgian, and Swahili, with more languages to be expected as soon as they are available.

10. Do we have to upload audit data that was collected before November 2020?

No. Only audit data that is collected after November 2020 must be submitted through Audit Online Hub. Going forward, audit reports must be submitted via Audit Online Hub before a certification decision can be made in the GLOBALG.A.P. database.

11. Clarification of system environments

There are two system environments within the Audit Online Hub: productive (LIVE/PRO; and test (TEST/PRE; Since there are misunderstandings regarding the use of the two available system environments, we would like to briefly explain what the two systems are used for:
The productive system should only be used to upload valid, correct data from audits. We consider everything uploaded here to be real data. As soon as an audit report has the status "Closed", we assume that the audit, including all relevant steps, has been completed and has therefore been submitted to us. It is also connected to the GLOBALG.A.P. database (, which is required to call up producer data and create new audits.

The test system is used purely for trial purposes. The data stored here are of no direct use and are not counted towards the monthly quotas for audit checklists. This system is used to test the basic functionality of the Audit Online Hub. In addition, new/updated functions are tested here first before they are rolled out in the productive environment. This environment is not a duplicate of the productive environment. It is connected to the test environment of the GLOBALG.A.P. database (, which is used to test the GLOBALG.A.P. database functions (including the retrieval of producer data).
