Technical Committees (TCs) 2020-2023

During the revision of the GLOBALG.A.P. Integrated Farm Assurance standard, membership in the technical committees is also being renewed. In December 2019 and January 2020, GLOBALG.A.P. members were asked to apply, and in March 2020, the GLOBALG.A.P. Board selected the new members for the 2020–2023 term. Consideration was given to ensure knowledge transfer and a number of members from the previous term were re-selected.

The technical committees consist of GLOBALG.A.P. producer/supplier and retailer/food service members, except for the Systems & Rules Technical Committee, in which GLOBALG.A.P. certification body members are also represented.

There are five technical committees: Fruit & Vegetables, Aquaculture, Livestock, GRASP, and Systems & Rules. See the new members of the technical committees here .

The committees’ scopes are set in the terms of reference and committee members will work on their goals until mid-2023.

Terms of Reference

The committee members will serve a term of 3 years and members may not serve more than 3 terms continuously. The specific scope of activities of each technical committee will be finally agreed by the Board and committee members.
