Future-oriented service for certification bodies

Cologne, Germany: The use of the GLOBALG.A.P. Audit Online Hub will become mandatory for all certification bodies worldwide on 15 November 2020.

The Audit Online Hub helps to gather inspection information in an effective way. Users can create and share digital checklists and inspection reports.

Initially, the following standards and add-ons are available to use Audit Online Hub: Integrated Farm Assurance (IFA) v5.2, IFA v5.3-GFS, and Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) Produce Safety Rule (PSR) add-on v1.2. More standards will be added in the near future.

“We believe that digital checklists and audit reports will become standard practice for farm assessments. Audit Online Hub will help us to standardize the audit process efficiently and to continuously improve our GLOBALG.A.P. standards,” says GLOBALG.A.P. CEO Kristian Moeller. “However, we are unique in our approach NOT to offer our own audit software solution. We understand that users’ needs vary greatly, and we recognize there are plenty of existing software solutions out there. So we decided to develop a common interface to connect these software solutions to our Audit Online Hub.”

During the development phase, GLOBALG.A.P. has already partnered with several audit management software providers to specify useful features for gathering inspection information appropriately, such as offline usage. Frequently asked questions and a list of approved software providers for connecting to the Audit Online Hub can be found here. GLOBALG.A.P. customer support facilitates the access process for certification bodies.
