The flagship GLOBALG.A.P. Integrated Farm Assurance (IFA) version 6 standard replaced version 5.2 on 1 January 2024. To support global stakeholders in the transition to the new version of IFA for aquaculture, we are introducing a third free webinar series to help guide you through the adoption of the new standard. Building on last years’ webinars, this new series has been designed to provide a comprehensive guide to the principles and criteria for aquaculture, as well as insights on the implementation and audit process.

Valeska is the senior expert and master trainer for the GLOBALG.A.P. aquaculture scope. She joined FoodPLUS GmbH in 2002, where she has since fulfilled a range of roles across the aquaculture and plants scopes, including combinable crops, flowers and ornamentals, coffee, tea, compound feed, and Chain of Custody. Her current role as Technical Key Account Manager for aquaculture involves all aspects related to the management of the IFA for aquaculture standard, supporting producers, certification bodies and Registered Trainers. Valeska has worked in the food and agri-food sector for over 20 years, with responsibilities spanning Quality Assurance Manager, Deputy Director, and Technical Manager. She studied Sustainable Aquaculture at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland and Food Engineering at the State University of Campinas in Brazil.
