GLOBALG.A.P. Webinar Series: A guide to IFA v6 transition – Fruit and vegetables (Session 1)

The flagship GLOBALG.A.P. Integrated Farm Assurance (IFA) version 6 standard replaced version 5.2 on 1 January 2024. To support global stakeholders in the transition to the new version of IFA for fruit and vegetables, we are introducing a third free webinar series to help guide you through the adoption of the new standard. Building on last years’ webinars, this new series has been designed to provide a comprehensive guide to the principles and criteria for fruit and vegetables, as well as insights on the implementation and audit process.

  • Fee: Free

  • Duration: 60 minutes

  • Date: 22 May 2024

  • Time: 17:00 pm (Berlin, UTC +2)

  • Language: English

  • Instructor: Antonio Restrepo (Producer Relations Manager)

With over 20 years of “boots”-on experience in developing and implementing Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) programs for producers across the USA and Latin America, Antonio is a seasoned expert in agricultural practices and compliance. Antonio became a GLOBALG.A.P. Farm Assurer in 2018 and subsequently joined GLOBALG.A.P. in 2022 as Producer Relationships Manager for North America.

Antonio is also part of the United Fresh Food Safety Council and is certified to train farmers on how to comply with the Produce Safety Alliance FSMA rules. He's worked with North Carolina State University to provide training in Spanish for farmers in the USA and Mexico.
