What is FloriCompact?
FloriCompact is a certification standard for smallholders producing flowers and ornamentals in Europe and Israel. It was developed in collaboration with the Floriculture Sustainability Initiative (FSI) and facilitated by Royal FloraHolland to provide a solution for seasonal producers, family farms, and smallholders with an annual floricultural turnover of €250,000 who want to comply with all three scopes of the FSI’s Basket of Standards – GAP, Environmental, and Social.

Note: The social module in the Small-Scale Grower Scheme will not be mandatory nor audited until further notice. Until then, a grower participating in the scheme will be considered FSI-compliant if both the GAP module and the Environmental module have been successfully audited in accordance with the scheme’s requirements.

Five steps to FloriCompact
FloriCompact is only available for small-scale flowers and ornamental producers with an annual turnover of up to €250,000 and who are located in Europe and Israel.
Check your eligibility here. Once you have confirmation of eligibility from FSI, you can continue to the next step.
To fulfil the data registration obligations of this standard, you must use a compatible farm management software (FMS) to send relevant data points to our systems each month.
Contact the CB of your choice and request an audit. You can use the documents to guide the implementation of the requirements and perform a self-assessment before requesting an audit.
The CB will conduct the audit according to the FloriCompact rules and checklist. Any non-compliances which are detected during the CB audit must be corrected within the specified period and verified by the CB before a letter of conformance can be issued.
When all requirements are met and verified by the CB, they will issue your FloriCompact letter of conformance.

The FloriCompact fee is 92 EUR per certification cycle.
