New Zealand GAP is a certification scheme using its own certification rules and own checklist of good agricultural practices requirements. These documents have been recognized as equivalent to the relevant GLOBALG.A.P. certification rules and IFA v6 checklist requirements (principles and criteria).

As a result of this benchmarking, customers requesting IFA v6 Smart will also accept product from producers with a New Zealand GAP certificate.
