GLOBALG.A.P. Community Members play a significant role in shaping the future of farm assurance solutions. Community Members from the Producer/Supplier and Retail category are eligible to participate on limited seats in our technical committees and on the Advisory Board.

Both our technical committees and the Advisory Board have the power to recommend and approve content that goes directly into GLOBALG.A.P. solutions. The input of our Community Members is invaluable in guiding the industry towards safer, more sustainable farming practices.

Typically priced at €3000 for retail/food service companies and €100-€500 for supplier organizations, the GLOBALG.A.P. Bookmarking service is free for community members. The GLOBALG.A.P. Bookmarking service supports supply chain management, where users can create a pool of bookmarked GGNs to easily view and monitor the certification status of their suppliers in one place.

The scope of information available includes:

However, the data visible via the GLOBALG.A.P. Bookmarking service depends on your organization´s Data Access Rules.

GLOBALG.A.P. Community Members gain increased visibility in the agriculture industry. We promote GLOBALG.A.P. Community Members in the following ways:

At our major trade fairs, including Fruit Logistica, Fish International, Seafood Expo Global, and IPM Essen we showcase the logos of each member in the relevant scope. Your company logo is also featured in our digital material, including our monthly Spotlights newsletter, our social media pages, and in our annual report. Moreover, if you achieve a noteworthy milestone related to GLOBALG.A.P., we write joint articles with you – to be posted in our newsletter and social media.

GLOBALG.A.P. Community Members gain access to 3 hours of private coaching/webinars per calendar year. The training voucher can be used in the following ways:

Personalised coaching sessions with our technical experts can equip your organization with the skills and knowledge necessary to navigate the GLOBALG.A.P. system confidently. If you have a special request for how this webinar voucher is to be used, you can discuss it with your regional GLOBALG.A.P. Representative.

GLOBALG.A.P. Community Members can admit one person for free to our Registered Trainer program. GLOBALG.A.P. Registered Trainers are trained in specific GLOBALG.A.P. standards and/or add-ons and become authorized trainers.

The Registered Trainer program is typically priced at €500 for enrollment, and €350 for an IFA training. However, GLOBALG.A.P. Community Members can enroll for free, and receive a 10% discount on a scope training – meaning the total cost of becoming a Registered Trainer for IFA is only €315.

GLOBALG.A.P. Community Members can also train additional Registered Trainers for €150, usually costing €500 per person.

Registered Trainers receive:

1. Extra visibility for services, appearing on the GLOBALG.A.P. website under Find a Registered Trainer

2. Life-long learning with free webinars offered via the GLOBALG.A.P. Academy exclusively for Registered Trainers.

3. Free GLOBALG.A.P. training material on a range of GLOBALG.A.P. products, developed in-house and available in multiple languages.

4. Access to the Registered Trainer platform where you can promote your trainings, download training material, certificate templates, and get support from the GLOBALG.A.P. Academy team.

GLOBALG.A.P. Community Members gain access to the GLOBALG.A.P. Community Membership seal, symbolizing your commitment to safer and more sustainable farming practices. The GLOBALG.A.P. membership seal can be used in:

• Promotional material developed by your organization.

• On your social media platform to speak about GLOBALG.A.P.

• On your website, under the 'About Us' section

• As an email footer

• On business cards

• At your trade fair booths to display your GLOBALG.A.P. Community Membership status

GLOBALG.A.P. Community Members are eligible for discounts on GLOBALG.A.P./FoodPLUS events, and trainings via the GLOBALG.A.P. Academy.

Members receive a minimum of 10% discount on any trainings they take through the GLOBALG.A.P. Academy.

When GLOBALG.A.P./FoodPLUS organize global events, such as the GLOBALG.A.P. SUMMIT in Poland this September, our Community Members also receive a discount on attendance.

GLOBALG.A.P. Community Members can collaborate with the GLOBALG.A.P. Secretariat to organise TOUR stop events in their region or country. TOUR stops unite stakeholders in your region and provide a valuable platform for experience sharing, networking, and forming of business relationships. Participants of TOUR stops can learn about the benefits of certification, market dynamics, and trends and challenges in your region or country.

Moreover, GLOBALG.A.P. Community Members who organise TOUR stops can strengthen their brand, increase visibility, and explore new capacity-building measures that can support stakeholders in their country.

Available in over 40 languages, GLOBALG.A.P. checklists are typically protected and inaccessible for editing.

However, GLOBALG.A.P. Community Members can receive checklists of our Primary solutions, Core solutions, and Add-ons in editable format. This enables users to customise them for training purposes and tailoring for your specific needs.
