About FoodPLUS GmbH
The GLOBALG.A.P. brand is owned and operated by FoodPLUS GmbH, a limited liability cooperation registered in Cologne, Germany. FoodPLUS GmbH is responsible for managing the GLOBALG.A.P. portfolio of smart farm assurance solutions and the related day-to-day operations – from standard setting and certification management to integrity and marketing. FoodPLUS GmbH also serves as the legal entity holding the international copyrights for the GLOBALG.A.P. brand and the GGN consumer label, which stands for certified, responsible farming and transparency.
Active in the sector for more than 20 years, our dynamic organization is powered by technical experts, project managers, marketing and event managers, IT professionals, and many more, all striving towards a common goal. What do we believe?
Every generation has a right to safe food. To protect this right now and for future generations, the world’s farms must produce safe food in ways that are socially and environmentally responsible and resilient.
Our company story
As a result of consumers’ growing interest in product safety, environmental impact, and the well-being of workers, a group of European retailers joined together in 1997 to set up the EUREPGAP initiative. The foundations of this initiative would later grow into the GLOBALG.A.P. brand. More than 20 years later, GLOBALG.A.P. smart farm assurance solutions are trusted tools for the global trade of fruit and vegetables, flowers, and farmed seafood.

Our Cologne office (Google maps link) is just a 20-minute walk from the central train station (Köln Hauptbahnhof).
Alternatively, you can reach us from Bahnhof Köln West in just 5 minutes, where you will also find connections to the tram lines 2, 3, and 5.
Christophstr./Mediapark station, where you can find the tram lines 12 and 15, is also 5 minutes away.
