Public consultation: Environmental sustainability solution (Round 2)

Welcoming your input on the new environmental sustainability solution, launching 2025

In development since mid-2023, the new GLOBALG.A.P. environmental sustainability solution is due to launch in 2025. As we progress towards this milestone, we highly value your insights and invite you to contribute your invaluable feedback to help shape the content of the solution.

Status update

The first round of public consultation was conducted from September to October 2023, covering themes such as water, biodiversity, greenhouse gases, environmental footprint methods, agricultural regeneration and food loss.

The second round of public consultation, from 29 May to 5 July 2024, concentrates on the solution’s framework, i.e. how the different themes come together, and shaping the general rules.

From 29 May to 5 July, we encourage all stakeholders to submit feedback and actively contribute to the refinement of the new environmental sustainability solution.

This round of public consultation will concentrate in particular on the five steps for on-farm implementation as proposed in the draft framework, as well as opportunity to raise additional questions that should be addressed in the further development of the new solution.
