What is the Public Bookmarking API?
The goal of the Public Bookmarking API is to make public information from the GLOBALG.A.P. IT systems available to as many users as possible, as easily as possible. To do so, the Public Bookmarking API links the GLOBALG.A.P. IT systems to participating platforms, for example supplier management platforms. These platforms can then display publicly available information from the GLOBALG.A.P. database on their own platform, making it easier and faster to verify certification status.

How does the Public Bookmarking API work?
In an age of increasing digitalization and data sharing needs, the Public Bookmarking API simplifies the flow of data for supply chains and enables key supply chain actors such as retailers, brand manufacturers, traders, and suppliers to view GLOBALG.A.P. certificate data via their own (or participating) platforms.
Choose your Public Bookmarking API subscription package and sign the contract. Create a pool of producers/companies via their GLOBALG.A.P. identification number (e.g. GLOBALG.A.P. Number (GGN)). We recommend creating pools with a maximum of 400 GLOBALG.A.P. ID numbers.
Connect your platform to GLOBALG.A.P. IT systems via the API. The GLOBALG.A.P. Secretariat can provide support for this.
Start using the API to display the public certification data of pooled producers on your platform. Depending on the subscription package, each unique identifier can be queried up to 24 times per day.
