GLOBALG.A.P. officially recognized by Dutch government‘s Consumer Product Safety Authority

The Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA) recently recognized GLOBALG.A.P.’s Integrated Farm Assurance (IFA) standard as a trusted farm assurance system.

The agency now regards Dutch agriculture producers’ GLOBALG.A.P. IFA certification as a genuine risk reduction factor, and government farm risk audits take producers’ GLOBALG.A.P. IFA certification status into consideration while performing their own controls.

This recognition by the Dutch public sector marks a new level of communication and collaboration between the two bodies.

“We are pleased that the NVWA now officially recognizes GLOBALG.A.P.’s IFA standard as a reliable benchmark for food safety,” said GLOBALG.A.P. Managing Director Kristian Moeller.

De Nederlandse Voedsel- en Warenautoriteit (NVWA) heeft de GLOBALG.A.P. standaard voor Integrated Farm Assurance (IFA-standaard) onlangs erkend als een beproefd landbouw-waarborgingssysteem.

Het agentschap beschouwt de GLOBALG.A.P. IFA-certificering van Nederlandse landbouwproducenten nu als een echte risicoverminderende factor, en officiële risicoaudits van bedrijven nemen de GLOBALG.A.P. IFA-certificeringsstatus van producten in aanmerking bij het uitvoeren van hun eigen controles.

Deze erkenning door de Nederlandse publieke sector tilt de communicatie en samenwerking tussen de twee organen naar een nieuw niveau.
